About the Role

Oracle Customer Success Services ASEAN Delivery team is looking for a Senior Principal Consultant to lead complex Oracle Database and OCI migration initiatives for strategic enterprise and government environments.

You’ll serve as a senior database architect, working closely with customer stakeholders, government authorities, and delivery partners to design secure, resilient, and scalable Oracle database platforms. The role combines deep technical expertise in Oracle Database and OCI with strong security governance and stakeholder leadership.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Oracle Database and OCI architecture, migration, upgrade, and modernization initiatives.
  • Design highly available, resilient database architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Architect and support Oracle Database deployments across OCI, Exadata, and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
  • Review customer security requirements and align database architecture with Oracle security standards and leading practices.
  • Define and validate database security controls, RBAC models, encryption, monitoring, and data protection requirements.
  • Support security assessments, accreditation, audits, and remediation activities.
  • Advise customers on database performance, availability, business continuity, and operational resilience.
  • Work closely with customer leadership, government stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party contractors.
  • Provide technical leadership across complex migration and transformation programmes.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database architecture, administration, migration, upgrades, or security.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Database 26ai / 19c, OCI, Exadata, and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
  • Strong experience designing database clusters, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Experience with complex database upgrades, migration programmes, and enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong understanding of database security, RBAC, encryption, vulnerability management, and security controls.
  • Experience supporting security accreditation, audit, or certification processes.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud security architectures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

 

Important Eligibility Requirement

This position supports government projects with specific security-clearance requirements. Applicants must be Singapore Citizens to be eligible for the required project clearance.
