About The Company
Emmy Squared Pizza opened its first location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2014, introducing our one-of-a-kind pizza to the world. We've fused the best of both worlds: a New York-style grandma pie meets a Detroit-style pizza. Our culinary creativity shines through in our unique, handmade fluffy focaccia-like dough, finished with a caramelized, crispy frico crust. This innovative blend results in a pizza experience unlike any other, delivering the perfect balance of textures and flavors. Our famed double-stack, the Le Big Matt, has been recognized as one of the top burgers in the world! About the Role

Do you love a well-run restaurant, a strong team, and the feeling of sending out great food while guests are having a great time? Emmy Squared Pizza is looking for an experienced Restaurant / Kitchen Manager to join our team in Nashville.

You’ll support the General Manager and help oversee the whole restaurant, serving as Manager on Duty and keeping both the front and back of house running smoothly. This role has a special focus on the kitchen: supporting the BOH team, keeping food quality and consistency on track, and helping create a strong connection between the kitchen and dining room.

We’re known for Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who cares about great food, genuine hospitality, and helping the whole team succeed.

What you’ll do:

  • Help lead daily operations across the entire restaurant and serve as Manager on Duty.
  • Support, coach, and develop both FOH and BOH team members, including helping with hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Keep kitchen operations organized and food quality, consistency, timing, and presentation on track.
  • Make sure the dining room and kitchen communicate well and work together, especially during busy shifts.
  • Stay present with the team and guests, and help resolve concerns with care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant, following food safety and health department standards.
  • Help manage labor and schedules based on the needs of the business.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and keep communication clear across the team.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Quarterly bonus opportunities
  • Paid training program
  • Robust health benefit offerings
  • Career advancement opportunities within developing restaurant group

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have at least one year of management experience in a full-service restaurant.
  • Enjoy leading a whole restaurant team and have a particular interest in kitchen operations.
  • Communicate clearly, stay organized, and keep a level head when things get busy.
  • Are comfortable using POS and scheduling systems; Toast experience is a plus.
  • Have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Can meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.

At Emmy Squared, we’re more than a team—we’re a family. We believe in creating an inclusive, supportive, and energetic workplace where your talent can shine and grow. Join a company that values innovation, quality, and hospitality—and be part of a brand that’s redefining the dining experience, one slice at a time.  If this is what you are looking for - we’d love to hear from you!
