About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Services (AIS) Senior Lead /Solution Architect with a strong background in Azure Integration Strategy, Architecture, and Enterprise Integration Patterns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based integration solutions using Azure's iPaaS stack — including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management, and Data Factory — to meet the strategic and operational integration needs of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise integrations using Azure Integration Services.
- Define integration architecture, standards, governance, and reusable integration patterns.
- Provide technical leadership across Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
- Drive API-led, event-driven, synchronous, asynchronous, and file-based integration architectures.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues and major incident management.
- Ensure integrations meet performance, availability, security, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
- Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to deliver integration solutions.
- Mentor and develop integration engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, observability, and platform optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with the Strategy & Architecture team, development teams, other architects and 3rd party suppliers
- Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that is relevant, easy to consume and compelling.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and middleware platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Strong expertise in:
- Azure Logic Apps
- API Management (APIM)
- Service Bus
- Event Grid
- Azure Functions
- Azure Storage & Integration Connectors
- Strong understanding of API design, microservices, messaging, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with integration security including OAuth, OpenID Connect, Certificates, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, 24x7 production integration environments.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), monitoring, and SRE practices.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing stakeholders across global organizations.
- Good understanding of SaaS, Cloud hosting and Integration technologies, specifically of the Azure technology stack
Demonstrated ability to identify implementation issues, determine root cause by collecting data from various sources, and determine solutions that account for business needs drive implementations to success
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Integration Services.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled integrations, Azure OpenAI, and modern cloud-native architectures.
Education
B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent.
