We have an opportunity for a Grounds & Cleaning Supervisor to join our Homes Victoria team. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate planned and responsive cleaning, gardening, lawns, grounds and waste services across your allocated area. Your work will contribute directly to safe, reliable service delivery and meaningful outcomes for Homes Victoria, residents and communities.

What You’ll Do 

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Supervise day-to-day delivery of cleaning, gardening, lawns, grounds and waste services to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved schedules, specifications and service standards.
• Monitor service quality through inspections, audits and on-site presence, and initiate rectification actions where non-conformances are identified.
• Provide frontline supervision and direction to Service Delivery Partners, ensuring clear expectations, adherence to scope and consistent performance across sites.
• Ensure services are delivered in compliance with contract requirements, site access rules, behavioural standards and environmental obligations.
• Ensure accurate use of works and job management systems, including confirmation of completed services, defects, follow-up actions and supporting evidence.

What You’ll Bring 

• Certificate III or IV in Horticulture, Cleaning Operations, Facilities Services or a related trade discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant safety qualifications, such as a White Card, are required.
• Experience supervising or leading cleaning, gardening, lawns and/or grounds maintenance services in a facilities, property or maintenance environment.
• Experience coordinating subcontracted or Service Delivery Partner workforces across multiple sites.
• Ability to identify quality issues, non-conformances and safety risks and initiate corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with Service Delivery Partners, residents and internal stakeholders.
