Rolled steel is more aesthetically appealing and attractive than "built-up" or "welded" sections. Rolled steel is not a “common” product. Projects that contain rolled steel are eye-catching, artistic and award-winning! The bending process does not affect the strength or structural integrity of the steel.
Albina produces curved roof trusses for airports, stadiums, high rises, museums, hotels, shopping centers, and more.
Albina produces consistent, accurate and repeatable rolled metal parts and components for various OEM and industrial business sectors.
Albina specializes in architectural exposure quality spiraling of tube steel, channel, plate and pipe to amazingly tight radii and steep pitches. We work on both commercial and residential applications.
In addition to staircases and stringers, we produce a number of other ornamental products such as handrails, decorative gates and fences, as well as architecturally unique and appealing signage and entry-ways for commercial, residential, recreational and transportation applications.

SHOP HELPER / GENERAL LABOR
Albina Co. | Manufacturing / Metal Fabrication
Albina Co. is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our production team as a Shop Helper / General Laborer. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn new skills, operate equipment, and advance within the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, and equipment.
- Assist with material handling, cutting, grinding, end finishing, and packaging of completed jobs.
- Assist machine operators with production and metal bending processes.
- Learn to operate shop machinery, including saws, drill presses, threading, flaring, and facing machines.
- Operate forklifts and other mobile lift equipment upon completion of required training.
- Perform basic measurements, calculations, and equipment maintenance as skills develop.
- Properly care for company tools and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and previous manufacturing or construction experience are a plus, but not required.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork.

SWING SHIFT POSITION
Drug-Test Required
This is a physically demanding position. Successfully applicant must have the ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly & stand for 4hrs at a time.
Must be able to read, write and speak English to complete paperwork and communicate with co-workers.
Forklift and loading experience highly preferred
