Position Summary

Wavepoint is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Time Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of three facilities in the North Tonawanda, New York area.This position requires travel to three separate Wavepoint locations on designated days throughout the workweek. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to work independently while maintaining consistent cleaning and safety standards across all assigned facilities. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors; dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles, dispose of waste, and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Travel to assigned Wavepoint facilities on scheduled days and complete cleaning duties efficiently and independently.
• Maintain consistent cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across all three locations.
• Monitor supplies and report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards to management.
• Follow company cleaning protocols and safety procedures, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between three assigned facilities on separate scheduled days are required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexibility to accommodate assigned schedules and operational needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate janitorial equipment and handle cleaning products according to established procedures.

Work Schedule and Location Requirements

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Primary Area: North Tonawanda, New York
• Assigned Locations: Three Wavepoint facilities
• Schedule: Designated workdays at separate locations, with specific hours and assignments determined by management.
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
