About the Role
Description
Morin Process Equipment is seeking a talented Operations & Valve Technician to join their team in Pelham, AL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate valve package assembly by tracking components, monitoring material availability, and scheduling builds when all parts are received.
- Expedite purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery of assembly components.
- Manage shipping activities, including preparing packing slips, bills of lading, freight arrangements, and ensuring on-time shipment of customer orders.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, identify damage, and coordinate resolution of freight claims.
- Maintain inventory organization, conduct monthly and quarterly inventory reporting, and support physical inventory counts.
- Keep assembly materials and shipping supplies adequately stocked.
- Work closely with team members, vendors, and carriers to meet customer deadlines and control freight costs.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with management regarding Valve & Controls activities.
Requirements
- 2+ years related experience in shipping/receiving and assembly operations
- Team oriented mindset
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Strong time management skillset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
