Production Scale & Inventory Operator
Reifel Industries Inc. is an ISO 9001:2015 registered custom e-coating facility located in Pioneer, Ohio. We provide full and partial e-coating, dip-spin painting, and zinc plating services throughout the Midwest, especially Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part -Time
- Starting Pay: $17.50
- Shift Premium: +$1.00/hour
- Schedule: 5pm-9pm Monday -Thursday
- Expected Hours: 16 hours/week
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate industrial counting scales to accurately determine part quantities.
- Weigh and verify incoming and outgoing customer parts.
- Record part counts, weights, and other required information in the company's ERP system.
- Verify part numbers, customer information, and production order details.
- Identify and report discrepancies in part quantities or documentation.
- Properly label and organize customer parts to maintain accurate identification and traceability.
- Coordinate with production and shipping departments to ensure accurate movement of materials.
- Maintain organized work areas and follow established material handling procedures.
- Follow company quality standards, safety requirements, and established operating procedures.
- Assist with inventory verification and reconciliation when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Adaptable to changes in production needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical work.
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to safely lift or position racks overhead when required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug testing in accordance with company policy.
Physical Requirements
This position is physically demanding. Employees may be required to stand for up to 100% of the shift and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle parts and materials. The position requires repetitive reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and other physical movements. Employees must be able to safely perform these essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
