Service Assurance Specialist – Connected Crew & Optimised Flying
Luton | Full-time | Hybrid
20%25 bonus • 7%25 pension • Staff travel benefits
We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 40-60%25 of your time each month in the office.
You’re someone who stays calm when technology affects the live operation, brings the right people together and keeps services stable for pilots, cabin crew and flight operations teams.
The opportunity
Connected Crew & Optimised Flying brings together the technology behind real-time crew information, crew training, safety intelligence and flight and fuel optimisation across easyJet’s network. These services support confident decisions, operational continuity and more efficient flying every day.
As Service Assurance Specialist, you’ll help keep this technology stable, resilient and ready for operation. Working within the Crew Device and Platform team, you’ll coordinate service assurance, incidents, operational readiness and continuous improvement across product teams, suppliers and operational partners.
“This role is at the point where technology meets the live flying operation. We need someone who can coordinate clearly during disruption, spot recurring issues and make sure new services are genuinely ready before they reach our crews.” Head of Technology: Connected and Optimised Flight Operations Products
The team & culture
You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Technical Specialists, Operational Support Analysts, suppliers and colleagues across crew, training, safety and flight operations. The environment is collaborative and operationally focused, with clear standards, shared accountability and a strong emphasis on learning from incidents rather than simply moving on from them.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have experience supporting technology services in a complex live environment, with a good understanding of service assurance, incident management and IT service-management processes. You’ll be comfortable coordinating across internal teams and third-party suppliers when priorities are moving quickly.
You’ll understand operational readiness, service transition and the importance of clear documentation, testing, support ownership and recovery plans. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills will help you turn incidents and service data into practical improvements.
You’ll be a clear communicator who builds constructive relationships with technical and operational colleagues. You can organise activity across several teams, influence without direct authority and keep people informed during disruption.
Experience in aviation, flight operations or crew technology would be useful, as would knowledge of ITIL, operational monitoring, observability or supplier-led environments. What matters most is your judgement, coordination and commitment to reliable operational service.
What you’ll get
> Competitive base salary + up to 20%25 bonus
> 7%25 employer pension contribution
> Private medical insurance
> 25 days holiday + bank holidays
> Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
> Excellent staff travel benefits
> Flexible benefits package including share schemes
Diversity isn't a checkbox — it's how we fly
Reliable services are built by people who notice different risks, ask different questions and bring different operational experiences. Whatever your background, if you can collaborate calmly, communicate clearly and help teams learn and improve, we’d like to hear from you.
