About the Role
Senior Associate, Strategy & OperationsNew York, NYAbout ManifestManifest OS is the leading AI-native company on a mission to replace the billable hour and make legal services more accessible for American businesses and consumers. We power the next generation of AI-native law firms with one unified global brand, a proprietary technology platform, and a centralized back office — enabling lawyers to eliminate the administrative burden and focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients. Manifest OS has raised a $60M Series A from Menlo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, First Round, and Quiet Capital.About the RoleThe Fulfillment Strategy team owns a wide surface across productivity, supply, and service quality — and needs an execution-focused generalist to keep high-priority work moving. Right now, senior team members are bottlenecked because ambiguous problems require immediate analysis, process design, and follow-through that no one has capacity to own. You'll serve as a force multiplier: diagnosing problems, structuring solutions, and driving them through to measurable impact. This role moves across initiatives rather than sitting in a narrow function. What You’ll DoInvestigate operational breakdowns and identify the root process, data, or ownership gapMap and redesign workflows across intake, case production, quality, and internal opsBuild lightweight tools, dashboards, automations, and monitoring mechanismsTrack initiatives from launch through adoption and measurable outcomesConduct analyses that surface the team's highest-leverage opportunitiesRespond quickly when service risks, capacity issues, or new business requirements emergeCoordinate across Legal, Product, Engineering, Data, and Client teams to move work forwardWhat We're Looking ForMust-haves:2–4 years in operations, consulting, or an analytical generalist environmentComfortable working directly with data to diagnose problems and structure solutionsAble to make progress without perfect instructions or clean dataStrong written and verbal communicator who can bring structure to ambiguous workProficient with modern AI tools to research, prototype, and automate fasterNice-to-haves:Experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth companyFamiliarity with workflow automation or lightweight tooling (e.g. Zapier, Notion, SQL)This is for you if....You want broad ownership and move faster when given less structure, not more. You find satisfaction converting messy operational problems into documented, repeatable systems. You're energized by working across teams and functions rather than a single domain. This is not for you if....You need a clearly scoped role with stable, long-term project ownership. You prefer to hand off execution once analysis or recommendations are complete. You're earlier in your career and still building comfort with ambiguity and independent prioritization.
