About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will participate in the design, review, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of numerous cutting-edge robotic systems.  All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment
Exhibits stro ng organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations
Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world
Early-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. This is an in-person internship; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Golden, Colorado.
